I look to empower each of my clients through a one-on-one counselling experience. Whether you feel anxious about climate change, social situations, existentialism, work, or anything else, just know I am here to work through these issues with you. You are not alone in your struggles and by learning to value yourself and see your own strengths, I hope you will gain the tools to live your life to the fullest. Developing coping strategies for dealing with your mental health concerns may be apart of our work together if you so wish. The main takeaway is that you are in control of your life, and I would be honoured to learn more about you.
I am familiar with the following approaches: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Most importantly, you are an individual that has needs and this is at the forefront of my approach. Not everyone is going to enjoy every therapeutic approach which is why we can tailor our work to fit your needs and goals.
