MY JOURNEY TO BECOMING A COUNSELLOR

Qualified. Supportive. Empathic.

I want each of my clients to know a little bit about me. My journey to counselling came after feeling unfulfilled in life and wanting to work in a helping profession. I have always been the one family members and friends turn to when they need help and am happy to have a job I enjoy. In my personal time, I enjoy walking my dog, hiking, travelling, karate, and spending time with family and friends.
As for my professional experience, I have worked with unhoused seniors, women facing domestic violence in and out of shelter, and individuals that are working through depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), trauma, stress, and self-esteem.
